Life truly does begin at the ripe young age of 40, and to prove that point, an enterprising group of South Texans put together a week long golfing and social event that has become a tradition since 1953.
The tournament field is limited to 96 male golfers age 40 and over. The social events are open to each golfer and his guest. While the main activities are related to golf and the nightly social events, there are other activities as well as local area attractions to be explored and enjoyed.

About The Event
Each night, with the exception of Friday, there is a theme party for all. The themes change each night and, of course, from year to year.
The parties include food, beverages (Including adult varieties) and dancing. Day trips are oftentimes arranged for the guests while the golfers are out battling the elements and one another.
